- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts)
- 1/2 cup mixed seeds (such as pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)
- 1/2 cup chopped dried fruit (such as apricots, raisins)
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add the warm milk, honey, and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients. Mix well to form a sticky dough.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
