Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)

Directions

  1. In a food processor, process the almonds until finely ground.
  2. Add the pitted dates, cocoa powder, almond butter, sea salt, and vanilla extract to the food processor. Process until the mixture comes together and forms a sticky dough.
  3. Line a square baking dish with parchment paper. Transfer the dough to the baking dish and press it firmly and evenly into the dish.
