Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and sauté the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
