Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1 cup mixed dried fruits (such as raisins, currants, and cranberries)
- 1 cup strong black tea
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions
- Soak the dried fruits in the black tea for at least 1 hour, then drain.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
