  • 1 1/2 cups crushed almonds
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup almond butter

  • 1 pound silken tofu
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup almond slices, toasted (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine the crushed almonds, pitted dates, almond butter, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Pulse until the mixture comes together.
  3. Press the crust mixture into a 9-inch pie dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  4. In the same food processor, add the silken tofu, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and remaining salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
