Ingredients
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and cut into strips
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 large tortillas
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced avocado
- Sliced red onion
- Sauce of your choice (e.g., sriracha mayo, ranch dressing)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy. Set aside.
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each tofu strip into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Repeat with all tofu strips.
