  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 slices prosciutto, torn into pieces
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the torn prosciutto and cook until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the asparagus and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender. Add the frozen peas and minced garlic and continue cooking for another 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let the cream reduce for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it with the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
