Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup creme fraiche
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add the white wine and cook until reduced by half, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the creme fraiche and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  6. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is cooked through, about 8 minutes.
  7. Serve the chicken with the sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
