Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 3/4 cup of butter, melted
- 1 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 3 cups of oats
- 1 cup of chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 cups of dried cranberries or raisins
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
- Mix in the oats, walnuts, and cranberries or raisins.
- Drop dough onto cookie sheets by rounded spoonfuls. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly browned.
- Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
