Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground ginger.
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.

- Drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets in 2-tablespoon mounds, about 2 inches apart.
