Minecraft Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
• 1/2 cup mini colored marshmallows
• 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup colored candy melts
• 1/2 cup mini toy figures
• Frosting of your choice

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two round cake pans.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
5. Mix in the vanilla.
6. Alternately add the flour mixture and buttermilk, beginning and ending with the flour.
7. Gently fold in the sprinkles, marshmallows, chocolate chips, and candy melts.
8. Divide the batter between the two prepared pans.
9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
10. Cool completely before frosting.
11. Top the cake with mini toy figures, and serve.
