Clean Banana Oat Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mash the banana with a fork until creamy.
  3. Add the oats, honey/maple syrup, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt to the mashed banana and mix until combined.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop the cookie dough by tablespoons onto the lined baking sheet. Gently flatten the cookies with the back of the spoon.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Allow to cool before eating.
