Ingredients
4 large eggs, separated
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions
In a medium bowl, beat egg yolks until light and fluffy.
Gradually add sugar and beat until the mixture is thick and pale in color.
Slowly add milk, cream, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture.
If desired, stir in brandy.
Chill the eggnog for at least 30 minutes before serving.
