Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Mix in the flour and baking soda, and mix until dough is formed.
- Roll the dough into walnut sized balls, and place them 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
