Ingredients

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of almond milk

Directions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, heat oats, walnuts, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes or until everything is well blended.
  2. Stir in almond milk and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 8 minutes, or until the oatmeal is cooked to your desired consistency.
  3. Serve warm with a dollop of almond butter and a sprinkle of cocoa powder. Enjoy!
