Ingredients

  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1-inch slices
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of light brown sugar

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the banana slices. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the cinnamon and sugar and stir until the bananas are evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Return the bacon to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the bananas are caramelized and the bacon is heated through.
