Ingredients
- 1 Panettone
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Cut the Panettone in half horizontally and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon and heat over low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the nuts (if using).
- Spread the chocolate mixture over the bottom half of the Panettone.
- Put the top half of the Panettone back on and press gently to seal.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
