Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped fine
Directions
- In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture and shake off the excess.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the wine, lemon juice, capers, and parsley to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the chicken with the sauce spooned over the top.
