Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, diced
1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 lb penne pasta
Directions
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add diced chicken. Cook until lightly browned.
Add artichoke hearts and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
Add chicken broth, white wine, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the butter and flour to make a roux. Slowly add the roux to the skillet, stirring constantly.
Add heavy cream and stir until thickened. Reduce heat to low and add parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
Bring a pot of water to a boil and add penne pasta. Cook for 10 minutes or until al dente.
Drain pasta and add to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
