Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter cubes until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the buttermilk and shredded cheddar cheese until just combined.
- Gently fold in the parsley and thyme.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out a portion of the dough and drop it onto a greased baking sheet.
- Repeat with remaining dough, spacing the biscuits about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and garlic powder over low heat.
