Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the thawed puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into four equal rectangles.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, and caraway seeds. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of the four rectangles.
  4. Cut each rectangle into four strips. Place the strips on the prepared baking sheet, and lightly brush with the beaten egg.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving.
