In a large bowl, combine the apples, 1/2 cup of white sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until the apples are evenly coated. Spread the apple mixture over the dough in the pan.
In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, 1/2 cup of butter, and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and bubbly. Pour over the apples.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
