Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef or pork, sliced
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup carrots, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup water
Directions
- Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the beef or pork and stir-fry until lightly browned.
- Add the onion, garlic, mushrooms, carrots, soy sauce, sugar and pepper. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add the bean sprouts and water. Stir-fry for another minute until vegetables are tender.
- Serve over cooked rice.
