Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and granulated sugar. Gently stir to combine.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sour cream, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  3. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer the angel food cake cubes, berry mixture, and cream mixture. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  4. Sprinkle the top of the trifle with confectioners’ sugar.
  5. Place the trifle in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
