Butterscotch Lace Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease baking sheets.
2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda, flour and walnuts.
3. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
