In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda, flour and walnuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
