Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butterscotch chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla until light and fluffy. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until combined. Stir in the butterscotch chips.
- Press the dough into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
