Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Add the nuts to the bowl and stir until the nuts are evenly coated with the sugar mixture.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sugar-coated nuts and stir continuously until the nuts are lightly toasted, about 3 minutes.
Add the water and continue stirring until the nuts are evenly coated with the butter and sugar and the mixture begins to thicken, about 2 minutes.
Spread the nuts evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Stir the nuts and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Allow the nuts to cool before serving.
