Browned Brussels Sprouts with Orange and Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Brussels sprouts, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and add the walnuts, orange juice, and orange zest. Mix to combine.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and serve hot.
