Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 heads broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/2 pound Brussels sprouts, halved
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and Brussels sprouts and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the oregano and thyme and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
