Ingredients
- 2 pounds of beef
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon of basil
- 1 teaspoon of rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and translucent.
- Add the beef and cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned. Add the diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, rosemary, and thyme and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
