Ingredients

  • 2 cups of frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until the blueberries are evenly coated.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, melted butter, baking powder, and brown sugar. Mix until the ingredients are well combined.
  4. Spread the blueberry mixture in the greased baking dish. Sprinkle the flour mixture evenly over the top.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Let cool before serving.
