Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the black beans, coconut water, cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder. Bring to a low simmer.
  2. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Serve warm.
