Ingredients

  • 4 lb boneless pork shoulder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Directions

  1. Cut the pork shoulder into 4-5 large pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, oregano, black pepper, brown sugar, and salt.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the pork.
  4. Place the pork in a slow cooker.
  5. Pour the chicken broth and BBQ sauce over the pork.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
  7. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  8. Serve the pulled pork with your favorite sides.
