In a large pot, cook the sausage, bacon, onion, and garlic over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, until the sausage is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
Add the olive oil, chicken broth, potatoes, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the kale and simmer for 5 minutes more.
Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes more.
