- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs

- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract and whisk until combined.
- Add the mashed bananas and whisk until combined.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and whisk until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts (if using).
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
