Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fresh watermelon, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 4 cups of cold water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Directions

  1. In a blender, blend the watermelon cubes until smooth.
  2. Strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh sieve and into a large bowl.
  3. Add the lemon juice, sugar, and water to the bowl and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Pour the mixture into a pitcher and add ice cubes if desired.
  5. Serve over ice and enjoy!
