Directions
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the burgers are cooked through.
Place the buns on the griddle and toast lightly, about 1 minute per side.
Top each burger with a slice of cheese and cook until melted, about 1 minute.
Top each burger with the desired toppings and serve.
