1 ½ lbs. beef, cut into cubes
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons fish sauce

Directions

Add the onion and garlic and cook for another 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the fish sauce, black pepper, cumin, coriander, and turmeric and stir to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the coconut milk and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the lime juice and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve garnished with cilantro.
