Ingredients
1/2 lb lump crab meat
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup roasted red pepper, diced
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons capers
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine crab meat, panko, mayonnaise, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix until combined.
Form mixture into 6-8 patties and place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden brown and cooked through.
In a small bowl, mix together roasted red pepper, mayonnaise, capers, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and parsley. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
Serve crab cakes with roasted red pepper remoulade.
