- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten

- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
- Add the sauerkraut, caraway seeds, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add the milk to the flour mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
