Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 8 ounces thin egg noodles
  • 3 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil and cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to the package directions.
  5. Stir the spinach into the beef mixture and cook until wilted, about 1 minute.
  6. Drain the noodles and divide among 4 bowls. Top with the beef mixture and sprinkle with the cilantro and sesame seeds.
