Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups dried apricots, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted butter until mixture is crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle chopped apricots and walnuts over the top.
  4. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the top. Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
