In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until thoroughly combined.
Press the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
While the meatloaf is cooking, combine the apricot preserves and ketchup in a small bowl. Mix until well combined.
Remove the meatloaf from the oven after 40 minutes and spread the apricot-ketchup mixture on top. Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
