Ingredients
- 1 sheet of store-bought puff pastry
- 4 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface.
- In a medium bowl, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Mix until apples are coated. Place apples onto puff pastry and spread out evenly.
- In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, and butter. Mix until well-combined. Spread over the apples.
- Fold up the sides of the puff pastry and crimp to close. Place tart onto a baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
