Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
1/2 cup buffalo sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Preheat the air-fryer to 400°F.
In a large bowl, combine the buffalo sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
Transfer the wings to the air-fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
Flip the wings and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and golden brown and crispy.
Serve with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Interesting Facts
Buffalo chicken wings were invented in 1964 at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York.
The traditional Buffalo wing sauce is a combination of hot sauce, butter, and vinegar.
Air-frying is a healthier alternative to deep-frying, as it uses less oil.
This recipe can also be made in the oven at 400°F for about 30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
