Ingredients
- 3-4 lb pork shoulder, trimmed of excess fat
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- In a small bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper.
- Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and coat it with the sauce.
- Cover the roasting pan with foil and bake for 2 hours, or until the pork is tender.
- Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 30 minutes, or until the pork is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the pork from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Using two forks, pull the pork apart into shreds and serve with your favorite sides.
