Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the honey, warm water, and olive oil until combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the rolled oats.
  6. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with olive oil or cooking spray.
  7. Pour the dough into the loaf pan and spread out evenly.
  8. Bake the bread for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
