Ingredients
- 1 pound of venison tips
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 cup of long grain white rice
- 2 cups of water
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add venison tips and cook until lightly browned, about 4 minutes. Remove venison tips from the skillet and set aside.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, and thyme and bring to a boil.
- Return the venison tips to the skillet and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, bring the rice, water, and a pinch of salt to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and all of the liquid has been absorbed.
- Serve the venison tips over the cooked rice.
