Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until smooth.
  3. Add flour, salt, and melted butter and stir until just combined, then let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Grease a 12 cup muffin tin with butter or cooking spray.
  5. Fill each cup of the muffin tin halfway with the batter.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the popovers are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes, then remove from the tin and serve warm.
