Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh crabgrass, chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeno pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, celery, bell pepper, and jalapeno pepper, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the crabgrass and season with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Serve warm.
